Review by hotel critic
Happy Tuna was a great find for our family vacation in Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka. Initially booked for just a few nights, we ended up staying for two weeks! After a cozy first night in a slightly darker room, we moved upstairs, which was spacious with an airy feel. The kids loved having their own balcony, and the communal areas were perfect for family bonding after our adventures. We embraced the local culture by cycling around the village and even tried our hand at fishing, which the kids found exciting. The manager’s prawn curry became a family favorite, and he surprised us with homemade banana fritters for dessert. With the beach just a short walk away, Happy Tuna felt like a true home away from home. We'll definitely return!
